The SK Gaming player was in the same group with Yoan 'ToD' Merlo of Gravitas Gaming, TED and Jae shin 'EVE' Park of Meet Your Makers which was not any easier than any other “Group of death”.

ReMinD opted for Orc when he faced the Undead phenomenon in both occasions and walked off with two wins which proved enough to steer him into the second group stage. ReMinD will then play against Check of mTw on Twisted Meadows. With Night Elf mirror match being his specialty, the 22-year-old is hopeful to make it through to the quarter-finals.

ToD, meanwhile, progressed as first place with ease. The Frenchman finished off EVE and ReMinD altogether in less than half an hour and booked his Round 16 meeting with his former team-mate Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu of Mousesports to be played on September 5.

The last playday of first group stage will kick off at 12:00 CET on August 27. Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen of Meet Your Makers will meet Dae Duck 'Kei' Yoon of fnatic, while Andrew 'mOOn-GLaDe' Pender of Australia United will take on Seong Deok 'SoJu' Lee of SK Gaming.
