The Games Convention 2008 is underway now and the Extreme Masters Season III is about to kick off. The first Global Challenge is taking place with World of Warcraft 3v3 on Friday.

The Games Convention 2008 is underway now and the Extreme Masters Season III is about to kick off. The first Global Challenge is taking place with World of Warcraft 3v3 on Friday.Twelve of Europe's best teams signed up for the Global Challenge in Leipzig to be part of the kick-off event for the third Extreme Masters Season. Two groups with each six teams have been drawn now followed by a Relegation and Double Elimination Playoffs.
The top six teams get rewarded with a total prizemoney of $30,000 plus the top two will gain an additional continental spot for the World Finals. The first matches are scheduled for Friday, 22nd August 2008 at 15:00.
SK-Gaming EU PvP will also take part in the tournament with Simon 'zom' Palmer, Valent 'another' Sebastijan and Olivier 'orly' Bellemans in a group with fnatic. You can get more information about the tournament later this day at our event page.
