Today the Kode5 have announced their own live streaming with KODE5 TV airing this week for the first time. You will be able to watch it on Friday live for their KODE5 CM tournament. Not much has been revealed yet about the new KODE5 TV except for partnering up with the world's biggest media groups also containing SK-Gaming.com, so you will be able to follow the new KODE5 TV live here. It will air the first time on Friday, August 22nd 2008 featuring the KODE5 CM invite tournament.
Due to that, no HLTV will be available for these Counter-Strike matches but you can expect to see a great live stream. The concept is explained by Lester Lau below.
"Coming into the third season of KODE5, we realized that while gamers were trying their best to support KODE5 events, many of them simply couldn't make some of them because of where they were located," noted Lester Lau, KODE5 Revolutionary-In-Command.
"With KODE5 TV, we are giving gamers the option to tune in at home and follow the performances of their fellow gamers. KODE5 TV uses the Internet as the primary distribution channel, which makes perfect sense given where gamers spend most of their time. We hope that KODE5 TV will help further spread the word of competitive gaming on a worldwide scale."

Everytime something new is presented, "it will not work" because it is simply not known yet.
Gotfrag TV is a perfect example that these programs do work. I mean.. HLTV is just a match, no shoutcast, no inside stories, no pre- or post-match interviews, etc, while Gotfrag TV has all of the above.
I'm not saying this will be a great program to tune into, but bashing it before it has even gone live is just plain stupid imo.
When can I find KODE5's live streaming ?
hltv ftw!!
I hate livestreams :(
anyway,its nice :)
No harm in giving us the audience both options ;)
