Due to the small number of teams attending the ESWC grand finals the organisation decided to change the tournament format.

The tournament will be played with two groups containing six teams each instead of four groups like it was announced earlier.

The top two teams of the group stage advance to the play offs.

With this change new seed pools will be announced in the next few days and will be followed by a new drawing of the teams.

'tourney on California in the middle of the summer =)' was more to what i was refering to.
its not like the whole dota community is like 'i don't want to get a free trip into the usa, to play the game i love against the best teams in the world, meet all the ppl i've constantly played with, get the chance to win a decent price money while jerking off to some awesome grubby action being shown on the big screen. i don't want to meet almost legendary geeks like carmac or moon in real life'

its all about the visa problems you know
