ESWC Groups for Counter-Strike drawn
The Groups for the upcoming ESWC 2008 Grand Final in San Jose have been drawn. Eight groups with each five teams where the top two team advances to the next groupstage.

The Groups for the upcoming ESWC 2008 Grand Final in San Jose have been drawn. Eight groups with each five teams where the top two team advances to the next groupstage.Just a few seconds ago the groups have been drawn completely for the upcoming Grand Final. The group stage has eight groups where only one team per country can be in a group if it's not the last group.
With only the two best teams of each group advancing to the second group stage you can expect to see a lot of great matches during the first day already. Two tough groups will be Group F with roccat, emuLate and Team EG but also Group H with e-STRO, x3o and EPS second placed n!faculty from Germany.
Also rumours are currently spread that Team Dragon (Group A) and EYESports (Group C) will not attend the ESWC, no official statement has been released yet.
