The Winnerbracket Final of the Swedish Extreme Masters III Qualification was played earlier with SK Sweden meeting fnatic. The winner is now directly qualified for the new season while the loser either gets a spot in the 2nd Qualification Round or a direct invite by winning the Consolation Final.

Now the first map was de_tuscan which was a premiere for SK Sweden as they were not able to play the last match in the groupstage. Fnatic on the other side already had a bit of practice playing one match which probably wasn't comparable to this match.

Fnatic started out great leading up 8-1 but SK managed to come back getting a 8-7 in the first half. The second half was a bit closer but SK was able to get their needed 9 rounds. With fnatic losing the first map, they were allowed to choose the second map which was de_train.

This time SK started good winning the pistol even though they had to start as terrorists. Fnatic were not able to get their momentum back while SK got stronger every round. Winning 10 rounds as terrorist on de_train is impressive on this level. In the second half, SK again won the pistol round and beat fnatic getting their 6 rounds in a row.

This means SK Sweden is the first Swedish team to qualify for the ESL Extreme Masters Season III. Below you can find demos of SK|allen and SK|SpawN.
