Schroet Kommando has been keeping an eye on the Scandinavian Counter-Strike scene for a long time now, waiting to take a step into that territory. The time for that step has finally come and we are proud to announce that together with GeekBoys, CS-league (1999) and European Open Cup (2001) winners, SK is forming a Scandinavian CS division. The new squad emerging will be known as SK.GeekBoys for now until we have successfully managed mixing the two large fanbases together. The new Scandinavian team lineup consists of the following members:
bds (founder of GeekBoys and co-founder of XSreality.com)
Xenon (co-founder of Clan9 and XSreality.com and member of SK.q3 since December 2000)
korven (GeekBoys first recruit)
Blue (former Clan 9 and Allstars)
ode (CS player since beta1)
Mrkill (Quake1 legend from The Teddybears)
Savage (formerly known as NiP-Savage) as Trial
Slayer (CPL shoutcast commentator) as Trial
Our German CS squad will not be touched in any way by this expansion, together we will be even stronger. We look forward to meeting our Scandinavian friends at the next European CPL event in Paris where both squads will be competing. Welcome to SK! :)
Some information about my gaming career and my personal situation:
I joined SK 15 years ago, january 2001 and I am still with it and surely this case won´t change. I moved to Sweden August 2004 and has been kind of inactive the last months but you will never know about a comeback.
Hope you guys enjoy your stay here and have some fun!
Some stations of my "career":
I started to play Countrerstrike but after joining SK-Gaming in 2001 I quit playling seriously and just played with my friends (You might guess which clan the funclan is:) I tried to play Battlefield but since I was pretty much involved at work and at school, I stopped and concentrated just on SK-Gaming.
I have also worked for the CPL- Europe and I was even an admin in the European Sports League. Beside that I wrote news and tested games for turtled.com.
Some personal informations:
Still living in Sweden and working as a principal at a school close to Umeå.
