Aside from our fragging, ganking and creeping we as gamers all know that Lara Croft is computer games hottest heroine and so does Carroll, "playing Lara Croft, the sexiest game heroine there is, should get me a few more dates".

Tomb Raider is no longer a video game heroine, she is a female icon with the British archaelogist finding herself in comic books, novels, theme park rides and even films.

With yet another game around the corner Eidos decided to replace former Lara Croft model Karima Adebe with 23-year-old Alison Carroll.



In order to prepare her for this "vital" role she will undertake a series of courses including SAS survival, combat training, lessons in weaponry in Eastern Europe and a crash course in archaelogy. Certainly no need for a bootcamp then.
