Both ReMinD and SoJu were drawn into a relatively easy group beforehand, and they joined June 'Lyn' Park and Seo Woo 'ReiGn' Kang in the regular season after defeat of Ilya 'Sonik' Malish and Jin Seok 'Bz' Youn, respectively.

Lyn was named one of eight seeded players and hence received an auto berth, while ReiGn became a group winner with a 2-1 win over Jin Woo 'WinNers' Kim of mTw.

The regular season will kick off next Monday August 11. 32 contestants will be drawn into eight groups and play the double elimination best of one playoffs. Quarter-finals onwards will follow single elimination best of five format. The Grand Final will be held in Korea on October 4.
