John "Zero4" Hill has excelled at QuakeCon winning $8,000 in the CTF tournament and earning himself $3,000 by finishing 2nd in the 1 versus 1 tournament.
John 'ZeRo4' Hill had a very convincing group stage in the recent ESWC Masters and his performance at QuakeCon has been exceptional.
Zero4 took part in both the 1on1 tournament and the CTF tournament with 'cl0ck' and n1k0n under the team name "billymaysdaze".
On the way to the winner bracket finals they defeated WePlay1.6, supernova (mrkram, toobig, icetain) and team johnson. Following this they progressed to the final to meet inninitforthe$ which consists of; 'bLt' , 'swooped' and Magnus 'fox' Olsson, defeating them to take gold and a prize of $8,000.
Zero4 met and defeated SK team-mate Shane 'rapha' Hendrixson in the lower bracket final before moving onto meet Thomas 'griffin' Wall of team Evil Genius in the consoliation final. With victory over Griffin Zero4 progressed to the final to meet the ESWC Masters champion Alexei 'Cypher' Yanushevsky, now in Serious Gaming, in the Grand Final of the 1on1 tournament finishing 2nd and collecting $3,000.
