John "ZeRo4" Hill has won the lower bracket of QuakeCon 2008 making it his 5th final in a QCon 1on1 tournament. After losing to Chance "chance" Lacina in the quarterfinal of the upper bracket, ZeRo4 fought his way all the way back to the grand final of the event beating Brian "destrukt" Flander, Magnus "fox" Olsson, Shane "rapha" Hendrixson and Tom "griffin" Wall in the lower bracket.
In the grand final he will meet Alexei "Cypher" Yanushevsky, so far the unstoppable force of this tournament. This match is a chance for ZeRo4 to win a fourth QuakeCon title - an achievement that will take years for another dueler to emulate, let alone better.
SK Gaming's rapha finished in fourth place after losing only to Cypher and then ZeRo4 in the lower bracket. The third place will go to griffin.
