Progressing through the event and defeating the mighty Flash in the semi-finals and then defeating the furious JaeDong in the finals of the Arena MSL (thus taking the trophy) was enough for Ji Soo 'fOrGG' Park to jump up 14 places in the KeSpA rankings and occupy the seventh position.

fOrGG is a new wave terran player from team Hwaseung Oz whose victory in the recent 2008 Arena MBCGame Starleague was a surprise for almost everyone.

The second player who climbed up a nice number of KeSpA ranking steps is none other than the Golden Mouse owner, The SumoZerg. Sung Joon 'July' Park recently won his third OnGameNet StarLeague and is now sitting in the fifth place with a monthly progress of nine places.

Jae Wook 'BeSt' Doh also improved and by going six places up now represents the Protoss force on the fourth place of the rankings.
