SK Gaming's FIFA 08 squad received a nomination for the eSports Team of the Year for winning the ESL Pro Series championship, the most prestigious trophy in FIFA for the fifth time in a row.

SK's June "Lyn" Park is also in the running for the Best Warcraft 3 Player award for a year of outstanding results, including winning the Extreme Masters II championship.

Michal "Carmac" Blicharz is nominated for the Scene Journalist award and eSports Photo of the Year, together with Rafal "pigvomit" Lagowski. Pigvomit's photo representing arch rivals Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen and Yoan "ToD" Merlo after their match at Extreme Masters II seems like one of the main favourites to win.

SK Gaming has also received a nomination for the Best eSports Coverage. This category is one of the two public categories in the eSports Award. You can vote in this category right here (you need to register or use your ESL login to vote).

The eSports Award show will take place at Games Convention in Leipzig on August 23.
