ImageIt has been announced that one of the most controversial players of all time, Ola "elemeNt" Moum will come back to CS 1.6 and play at the WCG Grand Final.

elemeNt will join The Gathering, the team that won the Norwegian World Cyber Games qualifier. He does so with another major player, Sondre "REAL" Svanevik, for whom this is a comeback to CS 1.6 as well after his short-lived stint in Counter-Strike: Source.

"Opportunity knocked, lo3," says elemeNt. "WCG is one event I never got to go to in the past, this was an awesome chance for doing what I love doing and for all the fans and people who have followed and enjoyed gaming, the way it should be played. Furthermore, its time to put Norway back on the map."

Team Norway will be:
* Ola 'elemeNt' Moum

The comeback is only for one event, the WCG finals in Cologne this autumn but it is still big news for the community. elemeNt is one of the most influential and controversial players in the history of the game. He was a part of the legendary SK Gaming 2003 team, had a great deal of success with Team NoA and represented teams like 4Kings, Made in Brazil, Mousesports and Meet Your Makers.

A winner of the CS Player of the Year and CS Revelation of the Year awards, he retired from professional gaming last year in order to pursue his education.
