Yoan "ToD" Merlo has parted ways with Mousesports following the end of his contract. In the Mousesports announcement it states that it was a mutual decision to not renew his contract and that Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu, Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin and Dennis 'HasuObs' Schneider will remain in the team.
"All good things come to an end, and today im parting ways with mouz," said Yoan 'ToD' Merlo, "I had a really good time in the team and would like to wish them the best of luck."
ToD said in a recent interview he made a conscience decision to join an aspiring team with the hope of making it better when he chose to join Mousesports after leaving Four Kings. Whether he will join another aspiring team or perhaps fill a human vacancy in one of the top teams remains to be seen.
ToD is currently residing in Korea most likely caused by the crackdown on foreigners residing and entering China by the Chinese government for the duration of the Beijing Olympics, which begin next month. "I just moved to Korea," explained ToD, "and I'm not certain of what is coming next for me."
His departure comes before the imminent new season of the WC3L, so Mousesports will most certainly require a new player since the WC3l rulebook states that "each clan must consist of at least 5 players."
The Mousesports line-up now looks like this:
Jiankai 'Yumiko' Yu
Dennis 'HasuObs' Schneider
Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin
Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu
