ESL has opened doors for America with the announcement of Extreme Masters III Continental Finals America, which takes place in the city of Brotherly Love, namely Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Between November 21-23 the best American Counter-Strike 1.6 and World of Warcraft teams will be battling for a $80,000 prize purse and at least four Global Finals slots. $50,000 is the sum for Counter-Strike and $30,000 for World of Warcraft.

The event is set to take place during the America's Video Game Expo at the VGXpo.

Twelve American World of Warcraft teams and eight Counter-Strike 1.6 teams are going to attend the event. Two wild cards will be given out for South-American teams, while six American CS 1.6 teams get the cards from the Online Main Round of North-America. In World of Warcraft, all twelve teams qualify to the event through Online Main Round.
