It seems like Fnatic's World of Warcraft team is coming back to its roots as they are playing as Insurrection at the MLG Orlando tournament. Fnatic promise to be strong in WoW in the future.

The change became a fact on Gotfrag TV, as Brian 'Caal' McPharlin, Kyle 'Azurewrath' Holroyd and Jason 'Agnos' Weber were not wearing Fnatic clothing and were called "the former Fnatic" team by the commentators.

According to Fnatic's Managing Director Sam Mathews, the change is due to the lack of good results from this team. Fnatic's last performance took place at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational where they were sent home after two matches. Mathews does not exclude the possibility of the American WoW sqaud still playing for his organisation.

"We have been unhappy with their performances recently," says Mathews. "We strongly believe in WoW PVP but we want a team who will match FNATIC's level in other games, as one of the top teams. They are competing in this tournament under their own name, after the tournament we will make the decision on where it goes from here, but definitley expect Fnatic to have a strong WoW team in the future."

At the same time, the fact that Fnatic's website had a news item today about the WoW team competing for them at MLG Orlando. The item has been removed from Fnatic.com. Below is a screenshot:
