Fox seemed to struggle to handle the pressure but should be content with second place after being blessed with a stroke of luck with the easier opponents of the playoffs.
The third place went to Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski who beat Fan "jibo" Zhibo in a match for third place. Young players from the Eastern European region have definitely dominated the tournament.
Final Standings
1st place - fnatic.Cyph3r
2nd place - LLL.Fox
3rd place - srs.av3k

thats just speculations. fojji, noctis, jibo, cypher, avek can beat each other. today cypher did great but nobody knows how things would have ended with different brackets. personally i consider fojji's bracket the harder one and i think noctis would have come farther if he didn't have to play fojji.
jibo just was pretty unlucky and kind of lost his concentration in the game for the 3rd place.
looking forward to eswc finals.
i think Poland would have come farther in the Euro 2008 if we didn't have to play Germany, Croatia, Austria, Howard Webb....
well, that's the beauty of sport. you never know what's gonna happen ;)
congratz Cypher
Now that's harsh. Noctis, Jibo easy? :E IMO Cypher had easier bracket, since czm is heavily out of shape. Nonetheless, nobody could/would stop him anyway. Well deserved victory!
Still, I heard he played quite good if you remember that he is not a "regular" Q3 player.
haha yet again you show your incompetence Malystryx, and this time it's not factual errors but poor knowledge. zero4 and czm looked rusty and didn't impress at all and probably wouldn't have posed much of a threat to fox in the shape he's in, and he also beat av3k 2-0 in the group stage so I fail to see the validity of your argument.
Cypher did impress though and it looks like he's the man to beat.
:)
Cypher, bravo bro
hope he can do the 1st spot there.
