ToD was already qualified for the Grand Finals because of his 2nd place in ESWC France but he will be kicking himself after he threw away a huge advantage in the first game with 70 odd supply versus 40 on Echo isles.

Sky had gone for griffins but ToD's quick gyro counter swiftly eliminated the threat giving him a huge advantage but ToD was unable to deal the coup de grace. "Sky was given enough time to switch to Knights with Inner fire," explains wNv's VBadGirl, "ToD lost his MK, and made a bad decision to try to surround Sky's paladin, Sky just used invul and managed to killed enough units to escape".

However Sky's success was due to his playstyle according to VBadGirl "Sky used an aggressive playstyle in both games, always watching what ToD was doing and constantly annoying his peon line".

ToD lost his MK several times over the two games however he can take some consolation in knowing he is qualified for the Grand Finals anyway. However his two 2-0 and 2-1 defeats to Sky this tournament must be playing on his mind.

Sky will now progress to meet Moon in the Grand Final which will begin at 1pm CET.
