Readmore.de grabbed Grubby for a video interview following his exit in the playoffs to Sky with eSports Scene journalist winner Craven asking the questions.Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen is already qualified for the Grand Finals in San Jose but explains how the event is close to home, a chance for some interesting matches versus top players and of course a nice cash prize.
Grubby offers some insight into the implications of the changes included in the new 1.22 patch, and what he would have included in the patch. He also talks events, practice, Extreme Masters dropping of WC3 for WoW and MYM among other things.
A very high quality interview and worth a look, you can watch the video interview here.

Towers for 4 minutes, yeah not going to bother watching the rest.
I don't think there's any other wc3 player that is more interesting to listen to. Strategically speaking, he's easily the best in the world.
If he's only leveled to 50 then I find it hard to believe that he could have a very credible arguement on why WoW arena shouldn't be an e-sport.
I had like 1 and a half year where i did nothing but play wow :P (well almost nothing, sad but true :P ) And i still wouldn't wanna watch arena battles :/ It's just not exciting to watch. Playing them, and playing a tournament would be cool though. But, like watching other people play :/ i fail to see the point as a wow gamer. As a wow gamer you aspiration should be to play that arena tournament, not to watch it :/
When it comes to warcraft 3, it's just that much harder to compete with the pro's, so i kinda just sit back and marvel at their brilliance as they dazzle me with micro. ¨
In wow I was a pretty mean pvp'er, and an excellent duel player, so it would take alot to impress me, infact i've never been as impressed by anyone as myself lol :P

I think there are definitely more player who are interesting to listen to, but grubby speaks english very fluently and isn't really that shy. For example if Moon could speak such perfect english and if he wouldnt be so shy, he would tell us easily some other awesome stuff about wc3 we wouldnt even have thought about. Not all wc3 players are so open like Grubby :)
This interview was great as it featured lots of different aspects like ESWC itself, the patch, strategies, future of Wc3 and so on.
