The SK Gaming vs. emuLate drama match ended with an easy win for the Swedes on de_train. Robban talks about the game.We caught up with Robert 'RobbaN' Dahlström after their game against the high seed of their group, home favourites emuLate. He was relaxed and happy and so were the others.
"This match was not the toughest one we played so far," says the Swede. "x6tence played a better game than emuLate and honestly we expected more from the French."
The entire match went SK's way from the start.
"We won the pistol round of the match so it started out well," recounts RobbaN. "They got their first buy round but then we got on a roll and they really had money trouble in the game. They were forced to have a few economy rounds so we got 10 rounds as T. It felt really good to go into the CT side with such an advantage. We won the CT gun round as well, got really confident and just went from there."
The game ended with a 23-7 score for SK Gaming and it looks like the rest of the group stage will be easy for them and they will end in first place.
Asked whether or not the entier eStars vote controversy had any influence on how SK treated the game, the Swede simply played it down: "I don't think it had any bearing at all. We never even thought about that game."
RobbaN thinks that the team is in a decent shape: "I think our shape is more or less ok. I am not surprised - we have always been playing stable mathes with this lineup."
SK CS team's number one tourist has never had a really good ESWC before. This may be his first time and he is enjoying the event.
"It is really nice to be here," says RobbaN. "ESWC is a really nice tournament. The atmosphere is really nice and it is always organised well."
