The P1mp is out of ESWC Masters

ImageCyrus "proZaC" Malekani will not take part in the ESWC Masters of Paris tournament because of reported problems with his sponsors.

The famous Swedish player picked up a sponsorship from Excello earlier this year. At this stage it is unknown what exactly went on between the Cyrus 'proZaC' Malekani and the team but the fact is that the "Prince of Persia" cannot make it to Paris.

Sebastian 'Spart1e1' Siira has offered to replace proZaC but the organisers of the ESWC Masters have decided that they will not look for a replacement this early before the event. ProZaC was supposed to be playing in Group C of the event with Paul 'czm' Nelson, Marcel 'k1llsen' Paul, John 'ZeRo4' Hill, Sander 'Vo0' Kaasjager and Pierre-Emeric 'link1n' Portier.

This news means that we will not see proZaC in the ESWC Grand Final in San Jose. The Swede did not manage to qualify to the event in the national preliminary and the Masters is the only way into the GF for players that haven't qualified so far.

His absence from both events is a great loss to the show, as proZaC is not only a great gamer but also a great personality. In 2003 he was a last minute ESWC replacement for Alexei "uNkind" Smaev and qualified to top 8 of the event without any preparation. He also won over the spectators with his performance of "Hit me baby one more time" on the ESWC stage.
