eSports Player of the year award reveals its nominees

And once again as August approaches so are the yearly eSports awards ceremony and its winners. Today the committee behind it have announced that there will be a little change in determining the “eSports Player of the Year“ as now the main esport pages will have open votes for their regions.

The regional voting closes on July 7th and you will be able to cast your votes for the North/East/West European players on SK Gaming, the relevant polls will be published soon. From there the seven regional winners will get nominated for the “eSports Player of the Year“ award.

This years Player of the year along with other nominations as eSports team of the year, Best Counter-Strike Player, Best Warcraft 3 Player, Best FPS Duel Player, Newcomer / Breakthrough of the Year, Best eSports Coverage, Scene Journalist Award, Journalist Award and eSports Game of the Year will be determined this August at the Games Convention.

So here are the nominees:
