ImageThe Korean RMP team Council of Mages completed the Korean triumph at Blizzard's WWI 2008 in Paris as they swept the floor with pretty much every team and possible setup in the tournament.

Going into the final Korean Council of Mages had only lost a total of two rounds, and only played their main Rogue Mage Priest setup. Their opponents, Spanish Improved Clicks came from the loser bracket and therefor had to win two best-of-five series in order to take the title.

The final started off very well for the Spanish team who managed to win the first sereis with a 3-1 score, using a Rogue, Priest, Druid, two healer setup to counter the Koreans. After a few tactical changes by Council of Mages they managed to come back and take the last series with an impressive 3-0 score.

Here's a rundown of all seven games.

Game 1 (1-0)
CoM: Rogue, Mage, Priest
Imp Clicks: Warrior, Priest, Druid
Council of mages went hard for the warrior in the start, but quickly swapped to the druid who was forced to a quick NS but that wasn't enough to keep him up from CoM's extremely well coordinated attack.

Game 2 (1-1)
CoM: Rogue, Mage, Priest
Imp Clicks: Rogue, Priest, Druid
Clicks swapped their warrior for a rogue which turned out to be a very wise descision as they simply managed to outlast CoM, and they killed the mage. CoM attacked Clicks druid at first and but also swapped to their rogue once who got saved by cheat death.

Game 3 (1-2)
CoM: Rogue, Mage, Priest
Imp Clicks: Rogue, Priest, Druid
vanished decided to stick to siler but clicks managed to have very good pressure on CoM's mage who was forced to a quick iceblock. Clicks however managed to keep their pressure up and kill the mage, who didn't use his second iceblock even though his hypothermia debuff ran out.

Game 4 (1-3)
CoM: Rogue, Mage, Priest
Imp Clicks: Rogue, Priest, Druid
clicks decided to stick with the same tactic, going all out on the mage, siler pretty much ignoring everyhing to get off as much damage as possible on CoM's mage. CoM tried a few swaps to clicks druid but without success. In the end clicks were a lot better on the mana and got com's mage down after mass dispelling his second iceblock

(Improved Clicks won the first sereis)

Game 5 (1-0)
CoM: Rogue, Mage, Priest
Imp Clicks: Rogue, Priest, Druid
CoM changed their tactic completely as they started off on the priest but changed to the druid who seemed to get away but com's rogue did a very beautiful vanish+shadowstep and managed to catch souler in casterform with a cheapshot+kidney into an improved counterspell, extremely well coordinated attack by CoM who got the druid down.

Game 6 (2-0)
CoM: Rogue, Mage, Priest
Imp Clicks: Rogue, Priest, Druid
Pretty much the same as the previous game, after forcing souler to pvp trinket a blind CoM managed to catch him in caster form and get a quick kill. Very well coordinated by the koreans once again.

Game 7 (3-0)
CoM: Rogue, Mage, Priest
Imp Clicks: Rogue, Priest, Druid
Wow what a game! Both teams decided to stay with the same tactics, and it looked like Clicks would manage to outlast CoM, as both the mage and preist got OOM, but then CoM's rogue swapped to clicks rogue who were totally out of cooldowns and didn't manage to get much damage off at all. After a few minutes of kiting CoM's mage and priest managed to regen enough mana to get a quick swap off on Clicks druid who went down – meaning that Council of Mages completed the Korean triumph at the Blizzard WWI with a first place in all three games.
