The grand final matches in the Blizzard World Wide Invitational 2008 RTS games have been played and the tournament is about to crown its champions in the upcoming award ceremony. The Grand Final for Warcraft 3 was between SK Gamings June 'Lyn' Park and Meet Your Makers Jae Ho 'Moon' Jang. This wasn't their first meeting in this tournament as they already met each other in the WB round 1, where the Night Elf player came out on top with a score of 2:0.
Despite the early lost, the Orc player didn't give up and was determined to do better than he previously did. And so he did as in the first two maps, he made less mistakes than his long time rival Moon. So after the first BO3 games, Lyn equalized the whole match to a draw and now it could have been anyone's game.
But the third match, this time in the second BO3, started of with a strategy change from Moon, which thankfully colored the Cyclone/ensnare game a little bit. Lyn couldn't counter it in time and lost this match, sending the game into 2:1 for the Orc player.
The next game was an All-in for Lyn, because if he loses it's all over and Moon would be crowned as the champion. The matches started of with the same old cyclone/ensnare strategy for both players with the exception that this time the Night Elf player decided to go for Demon Hunter before taking Beast Master as his first hero. In the end this game turned out to be a true thriller with both players switching the possession of the game until Moon broke Lyn's defence and won himself this year's championship title.

Meanwhile in the Starcraft tournament, which was shoutcasted by the Famous Nick "Tasteless" Plot, Stork took his chances and finally broke his 2nd place curse and adds another tournament title to his portfolio.
His Grand Final match was against a really strong Terran player, Yum 'Sea' Bo Sung, which he won with a score of 2:0. The highest standing European players were Grzegorz 'Dreiven' Kordek and Gregory 'IdrA' Fields who finished in a split 5/6th position.
Warcraft 3 standings
1) MYM.Moon - $11,000
2) SK.Lyn - $5,000
3) MYM.Grubby - $2,500

Btw, is it just for me or there is mass bug lately in the website? (when you reply, go in the forum etc)
It's really taking away the dramatic of the moment when the winner of the turnament and a lot of money just stays emotionless or even starts watching the replay.
Just one more reason why CS rocks esports: European (or teams from the west) teams dominate it and don't save their emotions when the game is over (or do crazy actions: bottle+archie, the team that overthrew the table, was it MiBR?)
Finally, what I want to say is not expressing their feeling after winning is a thing about individuals, not the problem of all asian players.
