SK.usa finish 3rd at Blizzard WWI

ImageSK Gaming's American World of Warcraft division has finished third in the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational, one of the greatest events in WoW history.

The lineup of Neil 'Neilyo' Mosunic, Vance 'Serennia' Phuoc and Patrick 'Inflame' Costales won third place at Blizzard's premiere esports event, the WWI in Paris. SK was the best American team in the entire competition and the finish in third place is respectable considering the circumstances.

SK.usa had lineup problems and used one of the European SK players in Paris and came to the event without much practice in the composition they used in the WWI. Still, they went all the way to the upper bracket final beating Pandemic along the way. They were stopped by Council of Mages from South Korea.

In the lower bracket final SK were one map away from clinching the final but the Sopaniards were a little bit better and beat SK 3-2.

Considering the little experience in professional play SK.usa have, their fans could expect them to only do better in the future. The boys picked up a cheque for $9,000 for their trouble.
