Due to Glorin having some passport issues, SK USA had to change their lineup the very last minute which resulted in Blizzard having to seed them as the last team - meaning that they got to play the #1 seeded Pandemic in the first round. As replacement for Glorin, Inflame from the European team stepped in and managed to do a great job as SK USA beat Pandemic's RMP team with a 3-1 score.

The European team of SK got seeded 12th and were up against Pandemic Black (seed #5). This turned out to be not much of a problem for Xom and his men, as they came out on top with an impressive 3-0 score against Noktyn's team.
