Just moments ago Blizzard Entertainment have ended the speculations and announced that Diablo 3 really is in the making.At the current Blizzard World Wide Invitational, Lead Designer for Diablo 3 is demonstrating ingame options and a little of the currently made game play.
In order to see it and watch today’s tournament matches, head over to this place.
As for the game itself, it certainly got my attention with it's new possibilities and I'm more than sure that it will once again attract a lot of gamers.

Please don't try and turn this into an eSport though.
It looks great, and I will definitely play it. But please, no eSport intentions.
Just because you say something is an eSport doesn't make it so. I could make something stupid like competitive grocery shopping, then call it a sport. That doesn't mean it is one.
It will be a great game. Of that I have no doubts. However like I said in my last post, it is just like WoW + Baulders gate with Blizzards customary style added. And it should not even be given the chance to be an eSport.
Let SC2 be eSports savior, not another RPG style game. Those are for fun, not competition.
When even WoW can turn into an wannabe eSportsgame, D3 will be even more qualified for that x.x
Possibly there will even be something new coming for multiplayer :)
