One of the best European players, a furious Terran from Ukraine, Eugene "Strelok" Oparyshev got his French visa turned down and will not attend the Blizzard WWI in Paris.The Ukrainian himself shared the information about this today, saying that the embassy made many strange decisions in the past as well.
Strelok currently occupies the fourth position in the GosuGamers official rankings and according to those is the best non-Korean Terran player at the moment.
The loss of such a famous and skilled player is, of course, a loss for the WWI. Whether the tournament administration will look for a substitute remains unknown.
