Koreans vs Koreans and foreign mirrors in SC WWI

ImageThe draw for the WWI BroodWar tournament was known today with The Maestro Ma "sAviOr" Jae Yoon facing WCG 2007 winner Song "Stork" Byung Goo among the other pairs.

Officially, Blizzard invited four foreigners, but in reality there are only two of them - Christoph 'Mondragon' Semke and Eugene 'Strelok' Oparyshev.

The other two can be called "Korean scene followers", as one of them is a Chinese player Yifeng 'F91' Sun, while the other one is the wonderboy of eSTRO, an American currently playing in Korea, Gregory 'IdrA' Fields.

Two out of four Korean pro-gamer names are known by almost everyone, but the other two are not that famous in the spectator community.

As GoodGame.ru reports, the draw for the tournament is the following:

Jae Yoon 'sAviOr' Ma vs Byung Goo 'Stork' Song
Yum 'Sea' Bo Sung vs GooHyun 'Siz)KaL' Kim
Yifeng 'F91' Sun vs Christoph 'Mondragon' Semke
Eugene 'Strelok' Oparyshev vs Gregory 'IdrA' Fields

Mondragon, as usual, gave his short but precise comment:

"I'm looking forward to the event, will be fun!"

The official maps are: Andromeda, Colosseum, Othello, Wuthering Heights and Blue Storm.
