ESL has announced an upgrade for their DotA 1on1, 2on2 and 5on5 ladders. Every 6 months a premiership will take place in their respective category, up for grabs is some nice cash money! You would like to earn a buck or 2 playing DotA? Then be sure to continue reading!

The ESL has been running DotA ladders for quite some time now. Due to them wanting to revive their ladders and total DotA section they decided to start with the Premierships. These premierships will be played once every 6 months.

The system to qualify is a bit complicated so we asked 'TheRogue' for clarification:

At a certain time, the top 8 of the ladders qualify for the premiership. Everyone else can play a qualifier cup, the top 8 of the cup qualify for the premiership. They play a premiership, the top 4 of the premiership have a playoff, winners get prizes. All teams need to have played 10 games in the respective ladder.

The prize distribution:

DotA 1on1
1. 100 Dollar
2. 75 Dollar
3. 25 Dollar

DotA 2on2
1. 200 Dollar
2. 150 Dollar
3. 50 Dollar

DotA 5on5
1. 800 Dollar
2. 500 Dollar
3. 200 Dollar
