Kim “SaSe” Hammar and Hjalmar “DowaQ” Högberg qualified for ESWC Grand Finals after winning the Sweden Qualifiers after clinching the top two places. Both SaSe and DowaQ were drawn into the group of death together with Daniel 'LiiLD.C' Claesson and Daniel 'WhooLY' Crona.
The favourites of Group B, SaSe, DowaQ and LiiLD.C have beaten each other once and a 2-0 victory over whooly for LiiLD.C could have forced a following tie-breaker.
But the PGS Gaming player dropped a map to his opponent and sequentially sent SaSe and DowaQ to the semi-finals.
The pair then demonstrated they are currently the best two Swedish players after defeats of Group A qualifiers Arild 'EfFeCt' Bramler of bioXar and clanless Sebastian 'FuRy' Pesic in the semi-finals. In the overall final, which decides who will earned a paid trip to San Jose, the former Mousesports player overcame a 0-1 deficit and beat the Serious Gaming Undead starlet 2-1.

He had to win 2-0 in order to get a tie-breaker(cuz of map wins), but he lost the 2nd game so even if he was winning the bo3 he would still not advance, so the 3rd game didnt matter..
