GamePlay.TV league with $400,000 prize fund
Russian broadcast company GamePlay.TV announces a huge online/offline gaming league for any gamer in Russia and nearby countries.

Russian broadcast company GamePlay.TV announces a huge online/offline gaming league for any gamer in Russia and nearby countries.The league itself, as stated in the official press release, is dedicated to raise the level of today's cybersport professionals, to grow new progamers and to make Esports industry even more popular than it is at the moment.
Five games will be used in the league process and those are: Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, WarCraft III: Frozen Throne, Need For Speed: Most Wanted and FIFA Soccer 2008.
The games will be streamed online via the official site as well as via the broadcast satellite channel.
GamePlay.TV League will consist of four stages, including the registration, the preliminaries, the group stage tournament and the final showdown, each with a prize behind it. There also is a series of King Of The Hill tournament, with prizes as well.
The overall prize fund: $400,000
CS 1.6 prize fund: $190,000
CS: Source prize fund: $96,000
WC3: TFT prize fund: $38,000
NFS: MW prize fund: $38,000
FIFA 08 prize fund: $38,000
The registration is scheduled to be open between sixth and 30th of June, with the preliminary stage starting on the first of July.
Any gamer from Russia and nearby countries (Eastern Europe) can participate in the GamePlay.TV League. To do so, you need to register at the official site, pay a little entrance fee (~$43) and then follow the instructions.
