Following the dissolution of WICKED eSport's Warcraft3 squad and the failure to attend to the WC3L Playoffs, SK caught up with Peter "Cyru" Cyrek of WICKED eSports to ask about the events.

Peter "Cyru" Cyrek is a 22-year old Pole who works part-time for a Polish company called Lognetmedia in Public Relations and Marketing.

In his spare time he is also known for his organisational work at WICKED eSports (where he is still contracted until July) as well being the captain for Team Poland in the ENC.

So what has the Pole done for WICKED eSports? "I had a plan to prepare a gaming mousepad with Wicked eSports logo," explains Cyru, "We were ready to produce it but in the last moment the ower of Wicked eSports said "no".

However all was not lost, "From that moment I focused on building an editorial team and sending news tips to the gaming portals", but enough about that, let's hear about WICKED.

Malystryx: so atm is the WICKED eSports team "restructuring" or dead?

Cyru: We are going to join a new organization in two or three weeks I hope. We have got a few serious offers but I am not sure if the players accept any of them. Time will tell.

"The biggest problem now is that many teams want to buy our players."
Malystryx: So the roster will remain the same but just search for a new organisation?

Cyru: That is our plan. The biggest problem now is that many teams want to buy our players. However, I am pretty sure that 90% of the roster will remain the same. You know, we like each other and we are really united but sometimes big money may seduce even the most faithful player

Malystryx: I mean with the lack of contracts are you worried you will be unable to keep players if they are offered large sums of money?

Cyru: Yes, this is the point but I trust Mart1n and Point. They are negotatiating with a few potential sponsors, so we ought to have a new name and contracts as soon as possible.

Malystryx: In the official WICKED press release it stated " difference of opinions about the future of establish brand wicked", was it really an established brand?

Cyru: To be honest I haven't read it yet. You know, official press releases are often different than the reality - it's just what we call PR. Was it really an established brand?

In my honest opinion I am not a right person to answer. Untill now cooperation between us and Wicked eSports was just good. Unluckily, we have experienced some interal problems recently. Was it a brand or wasn't it? Not my business.

"Wicked eSports promised us money but changed their minds at the last moment."
Malystryx: What about these internal problems, are they related to, and I quote, " different opinions about the new contracts"?

Cyru: I've just read the release, and yes, this is true. We've had different opinions about the new contracts but this was not a key factor to leave. We were also tired due to some other issues which should be better left unknown.

Malystryx: Let's talk about an issue that is known, WICKED's failure to seize the opportunity to replace BeT in the WC3L Playoffs in China, what happened?

Cyru: Wicked eSports promised us money but changed their minds at the last moment. If we had known they would not pay sooner, we would have paid ourselves. Anyway, I understand them. We are going to leave Wicked eSports, so why should they sponsor us? On the other hand it should have been solved in completely different way.

Malystryx: And what way is that?

Cyru: If Wicked eSports did not want to pay for our trip, they should have revealed it much quicker, so we could try to gather the money to fly to China from other sources. There are three Koreans in our roster, it means that the trip wouldn't be too expensive.

"Even if it ends like this WICKED still gave us a lot, and I am very thankful for that."
Malystryx: So you knew already you would be parting ways with the organisation when you found out you could take BeT's place?

Cyru: Yes, but we still had valid contracts and we were promised that we will get the money for the last offline performance as Wicked eSports.

Malystryx: Some people still label this team as a "merc team" when really you seem to have stood the test of time, how easy/hard is it to manage the Koreans as well as for example Deadman or Terror?

Cyru: We are not mercs at all you just need to take a look how long we use the same lineup to see that.It is not really hard to manage Koreans, you just have to get up at 4am sometimes. If it comes to ScaryFienD or Woof Woof, it is much easier. When I need TeRRoR online I just call him and he comes. His attitude is really professional.

Malystryx: What have been your top 3 most memorable moments during your time in WICKED ? (a game, a match, a player, an msn convo etc..)

Cyru: Point telling he's hetero again was the most spectacular circumstance of the year. However, double victory over SK-Gaming was good as hell too. Count it as two moments or you can even add Soccer beating Lyn in the AWL ;- )

Malystryx: How did you celebrate when it happened? jump around, shout, bang the table, ask mummy for a hot chocolate?

Cyru: I banged a hot chocolate if you know what I mean.

Malystryx: Lucky hot chocolate... Anyway thanks you for your time, any message to the WICKED fans?

Cyru:Thanks to WICKED, we had some good times and we had some bad times, even if it ends like this, wicked still gave us a lot and i am very thankful for that.

Also thanks for the massive support and clap for SK @ WC3L finals. They are nice guys and Carmac pwn3z and because of him you deserve to win.
