A “sports centre style approach to eSports news” show has been released by Crossfire and QuadV chief Stuart 'TosspoT' Saw, showcasing a weeks worth of competitive gaming goodness in a rigorously informative format.Reaching across the entire spectrum of competitive gaming, eSports Weekly looks to give extended coverage to all established eSports titles like Starcraft, Warcraft III, Quake III, Counter Strike 1.6, Counter Strike Source and Call of Duty 4.
The shows format revolves around a news round up from all the big games and at the centre an exclusive feature. In the first show, Stuart 'TosspoT' Saw uses content from the recent Championship Gaming Series (CGS) European Qualifier and Draft (coverage – here), and features interviews from the Berlin Allianz general manager Jonas 'BSL' Vikan and player 'Olander', as well as fnatic's managing director Sam 'zr0' Matthews.
The show is a new project from QuadV and Xleague.TV and the pilot series will run for at least seven episodes. You can watch the show here.
