After the result of a two-faced conflict between Dignitas, H2K player and Clanbase admin, didn't turn out to be good for Dignitas, the management decided to pull back all teams from the ClanBase leagues. The conflict started after CB Eurocup Dignitas vs. H2K match, where after a tight game the British based team managed to come on top with a score 25:23. But nevertheless it clearly wasn't over yet as the admin of that match, who also happens to be a member of H2K, gave the French team a default win due to mismatching guids for one of Dignitas players, Bas 'SKO' Dirks.
After several protests and proofs the admins decided to revise this situation, and give the final answer. And even after closer examination, the decision did not change and Dignitas would receive the forfeit.
But when things seemed to settle down, more fire raise with a crucial announcement from the Dignitas management. As their website says, due to a dying system and unpaid prize money, the team withdraws their every squad from all Clanbase cups.
Whether it was the right or wrong decision by both parties is quite complicated. As both sides have their pros and cons. First of all rules are rules and they are the same for every team and every team knows which rules they have to obey, especially the guid concerned rules. If a player knows that he is not able to play with the guid he has on the usual gaming platform, then he should bear the responsibility to inform the opposite side and admins about it before the match has started.

And it seems like clanbase is losing it's importance with their game vouchers , unpayed money and this ..
So I think it's a nice move from dignitas to pull out
gj dignitas !
nevertheless, it was an expected decision, at least from the cod4 team, to give up on clanbase after this situation. shameless move by h2k.
"all our squads will finish their cups/leagues out of respect for all the opponents. Then we wont play Clanbase any longer."
BUT, these two teams have met at lan and are two of the biggest teams of cod4 playing in the UB final of the eurocup. H2K have really disapointed me by the lack of sportsmanship, they should have asked to reverse the decision made by cb. But they have paid the full price and have lost respect from a large part of the community. Good game h2k.....sad gimps.
also Diginitas are a bunch of sad fucks.
Retard, if the "admins" made any effort of checking his ip, and his other guid they would be able to tell that it was SKO who was infact playing, why the HELL would be wanna be using any other player than sko?, Sko is our fu¤!ing ingame leader and teamleader.
Think before you speak.
Honestly, are you Fins that stupid or just lack in education?
[ + ] for that and i retake my previous words.
And making a decision like this is really inmature, if every football team quits by playing a champion league match because of a wrong offside then we had no teams anymore in the champions league.
Think about that Dignitas !
Think about that Dignitas !"
except its not really like an offside at all . It is more like one team wins the champions league match and it is later found out that there is the tinyiest chance that their famous player wasnt the real guy and the the team was playing at a disadvantage so they lose the match.
If you let them play a match then you are saying that everything is alright.
