Clanbase's decision make Dignitas go boycotting

ImageAfter the result of a two-faced conflict between Dignitas, H2K player and Clanbase admin, didn't turn out to be good for Dignitas, the management decided to pull back all teams from the ClanBase leagues.

The conflict started after CB Eurocup Dignitas vs. H2K match, where after a tight game the British based team managed to come on top with a score 25:23. But nevertheless it clearly wasn't over yet as the admin of that match, who also happens to be a member of H2K, gave the French team a default win due to mismatching guids for one of Dignitas players, Bas 'SKO' Dirks.

After several protests and proofs the admins decided to revise this situation, and give the final answer. And even after closer examination, the decision did not change and Dignitas would receive the forfeit.

But when things seemed to settle down, more fire raise with a crucial announcement from the Dignitas management. As their website says, due to a dying system and unpaid prize money, the team withdraws their every squad from all Clanbase cups.

Whether it was the right or wrong decision by both parties is quite complicated. As both sides have their pros and cons. First of all rules are rules and they are the same for every team and every team knows which rules they have to obey, especially the guid concerned rules. If a player knows that he is not able to play with the guid he has on the usual gaming platform, then he should bear the responsibility to inform the opposite side and admins about it before the match has started.
