In the first round Mario 'mario' Viska had to play against the young Austrian player raYden, who had come to the finals, although he was on the sixth place in the season. The player vamp could not take part in the finals, because he was injured at that time, and also the Swiss player Mirodeniro could not compete in the finals, due to travel problems in Vienna.

Mario started with a 3:1 victory in the first semi-finals game. The second game was very close, but mario could win the game 3:2, and was able to advance to the Winner Bracket Final.

His opponent there was the winner of the last season, Rafty, who had won 2:0 against KategorieC in the other semi-final game. Last season Rafty has beat mario in the final, but this time mario could take a revanche and won 2:0.

raYden dominated the Lower Bracket Final against Rafty and managed to win 2:0. So mario and raYden played a second time against each other, but this time in the overall final of the ESL Pro Series Alps Season VI Finals. After mario had won the first game with 4:3, the second game had to be decided in the penalty shootout. In the end, raYden could win the game with 7:5. In the last game mario was fully concentrated and motivated and so he could win the game and his third EPS Alps title.
