ImageA mutual decision see's TEK-9 Networks (TEK9) Finnish star Jyri 'kammYz' Högman leave the team.

He's by his own admission a "controversial player", but was quick to thank the management and the team for their faith, of which he quickly re-payed on his first LAN outing for the team, dismissing any claims of cheating and was the “shining light for Tek-9” at the Crossfire Devotti Challenge 4 (CDC4) according to Liam 'Crow' Crowley of Gotfrag, eventually finishing in the top eight.

Though he admits he had reservations as early as February, before CDC4, he “wanted to pay them back for giving me the chance”, and didn't leave the team. The abrupt announcement comes on the back of a mutual decision between team captain Antonin 'OZWALD' Grenier and 'kammYz', who stated “me and 'OZWALD' don't fit in the same team” and “after a while 'OZ[WALD]' started to dislike the way I played, though it was effective.”

By changing the way he was initially expected to play - “when I joined the team I had the role I like to play, I was like an extra player, doing pretty much what I wanted and getting early kills in the rounds and so on” he eventually admitted that it “completely killed my motivation [to play the game]” and that he “lost the will to play with the team”.

Though he fully believes that “the lineup would've been amazing [skill wise] and none of us wanted to do this at first” but “we've been suffering because of the reasons for very long”. He stressed that “we were good friends at both lans CDC4 and [Multiplay] i33” and that the decision comes solely because of a clash of play styles, emphasing that though he would like to have played with the team he “respects the fact that they've played together for far longer” and doesn't want “it look like i hate 'OZWALD'”.

He will continue to play CoD4 competitively and is looking forward towards the summer season, having already received numerous offers during his time in Tek-9 Networks as well as tonight.
