Dignitas lose heart

ImageCurrent Call of Duty 4 hotshots Dignitas have made the baffling decision to remove CoD4 squad leader and longest serving member, Michael 'Mick' Bradshaw.

The Dignitas side which replaced Luka 'lukzaR' Puš with Bas 'SKO' Dirks on the tenth of March, reorganised the way the team functioned as 'SKO' replaced 'Mick' as the then in game leader, he commented to Gotfrag on his intentions, “once they [the Dignitas team] learn how to properly prepare for big events, I am very confident good results will follow”.

The following two LAN events resulted in a win (their first major title since late 2006) at the Multiplay i33 against Meet Your Makers, and then a second place at the Championship Gaming Series (CGS) qualifier and draft less than two weeks ago. The loss against fnatic was heavily owed to the fact that Chris 'blackmane' Kinnair was ineligible to compete, being under the competition age limit of 18.

The team which is also currently competing in the Clanbase Eurocup XVII and will face H2k.Gaming in the upper bracket final some time next week, also face Roskilde Ravens in the last eight of the Electronic Sports League (ESL) Major Series II.

He was the longest serving Dignitas player and has seen and been responsible for numerous lineup changes in his CoD career with the likes of 'Scouse', 'Dales', 'Yekoms', 'Trainee', 'qwertYY', 'beNN', 'pain', 'plazma' (in the current lineup), 'Palmz', 'Mint', 'lopezz' and most recently 'lukzaR' all coming and going through the Dignitas lineup, it's surprising to see that he himself is on the receiving end however, given how well the recent lineup change has been and how well the team is playing.

While no one from Dignitas was ready to comment, he himself made it apparent how he felt with “2.5 years waste of time” brandishing his 'Biography' on his Dignitas profile, also changing his profile picture to resemble someone being back stabbed. It's not immediately clear what the reason for the removal was and who Dignitas plan to recruit as their new fifth.
