Valve has taken another step to improve their steam services. This time it's Steamcloud, a system that will allow you to save your saved games and configuration files online and what’s better is that you can access them from any computer you want. This new (link via Kotaku) feature is what people have been looking forward a long time ago and it really does improve every gamer’s life a little. For example if you're going to a LAN or a simple bootcamp and you are tired of bringing your configuration files all over the place or you play with different keyboard settings.
With the new system Valve will ease this task and make your setting up faster, giving more time to warm up before matches.
But it's not all, Valve has another great idea ahead of them. They revealed that they are planning to add several more features to Steam. One is driver auto-updating and the other would be letting Steam to check your computer and tell you if you are capable to play a certain game.

I hope it will work.
No a day, if they apply those changes... any other distribution method will be from the past... the only bad thing it's about paying in the country currency... cause they will apply the 1$ = 1€ for sure... and it will become expensive in comparision
