The organizers of the International Esports Festival have announced that this years event will be held in the Chinese city of Wuhan, a city which is becoming more and more popular as an esport venue.

The organizers of the International Esports Festival have announced that this years event will be held in the Chinese city of Wuhan, a city which is becoming more and more popular as an esport venue.During a public conference earlier today, the IEF committee announced that the city of Wuhan would host the event on 10th October, 2008. With many players and events being located in China it is fast becoming the capital of Warcraft III.
Furthermore the committee announced that competitors from both China and Korea would be selected through two separate qualification tournaments.
The Chinese qualifier will take place in three weeks time at the China Expo Plaza in Dalian during June 18th and June 20th. Taebaek City, South Korea will be the venue for the Korean national qualifier and is scheduled to take place a month after the Chinese event during 19th and 20th July, 2008.
