Following a 4-3 thriller against hoorai in last playday, SK Gaming are poised to play the defending champion Meet Your Makers.
SK Gaming had not managed to sharpen up their form back to the level of the previous unbeatable season in their game against hoorai.
None of the the trio of Seo Woo “ReiGn” Kang, Seong Deok “SoJu” Lee and Daniel “miou” Holthuis did not manage more than two straight wins in the match. At a point, they were by the ropes, trailing 2-3 behind.
But the all-kill boy ReiGn proved his worth again. Revived by SK Gaming via a joker to replace June “Lyn” Park, ReiGn disappointed both Valentine “FiX” Krulikovsky and Samu “BriNGeR” Riihelä to save the day for SK Gaming.
Similar to SK Gaming, Meet Your Makers are also shaky this season as they have already lost three clanwars out of five. They dropped to fifth place with six points after a 2-4 defeat to Mousesports.
In spite of being knocked out of both ESWC China pre-qualifier and PGL Season III qualifier, Weiliang “Fly100%” Lu proved to be the man of the match as he beat Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen and Jae Ho “Moon” Jang as the starter.
Although Meet Your Makers haven't secured a berth to the Finals yet, with three matches until the end of the regular season, they won the three previous encounters vs SK in the king of the hill format.
Their talisman player Grubby displayed a stunning performance in the last encounter in the Road of the King and turned the game from 1-3 to 4-3.
Obviously the SK Gaming manager Min-Sik “reis” Ko is well aware of their opponents extraordinary performance and hopes for the best outcome for SK Gaming.
“Our clanwars were always pretty close. The last time we met at RotK and MYM managed to win after 1-3 with 4-3. It was shocking ^^. I hope it won’t happen this time and we can secure ourself a position in the top 4.”
Matthias “Losemann” Beyer, in the meantime, expressed their desire to walk out of the match as the winner “after the 'not so good' match versus mouz we now have to step up.”
“We needed that win versus mouz and if we want to make it to the finals we have to take a win here.”
The match will kick off at 16:00 CET and the map for the first game is Turtle Rock. You can follow the game live via GGTV as well as Waaagh!TV. You can also stay tuned for the latest results in our SK Gaming versus. Meet Your Makers match item.

come on Lyn :)
Starting map is TR,somehow good for UD,ReiGn will start the show.Captain Sexy is probably eager to prove himself after the match vs mouz.Too bad ReiGn in /mirror_king mode destroys captain Oh no mercy in ghouls battles.Next,MYM tries imba strat by sending Grubby and the map is LT ofc.But when UD gosus play orc, they play seriously.ReiGn turns the match into a mirror.Grubby cant basetrade and gets outmicroed hard...SKs up 2-0
Then comes the out-of-shape Jang Jae Ho.Since the opponentis really worthy,Moon enters /care_mode and shows his sexy BM/Dryads strat.ReiGn is so motivated and he plays solid. After like 40 mins of an intense match, master Kang manages to defeat Mr.5thRace with classic gargghuols play.
All hope of MYM is on Lucifer, but Kang Seo Woo shows us why he was once undefeated in mirror in one year.GG 4-0 for SK
even if MYM revives Grubby, master Kang will just blow him away with flawless fiends play plus some wyrms
Starting map is TR, somehow good for UD, ReiGn will start the show, 1-0 vs captain Suxi.
Then Grubby all-kill.
Grubby = Master!
But Moon was MVP, even though Grubby lead MYM to victory!
but anyhow, its SK's own site, so on the other hand i cant blame them..
gg's, was an intense war!
