Disappointed that you didn't take part in the ASUS Spring 2008 at Moscow? Here comes what could have happened to you if you would have spent more time playing DotA and had a bit of luck to get asked to join SK.DotA.
- Day 3If you would have travelled with SK.DotA to Moscow, it could have been also you who's croissant was snatched by Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall. The others already knew who is the breakfast thief in their team, but for the greater fun of all I'm sure they would have not told you earlier.
But no time for regrets. Sergey 'ARS-ART' Revin would have picked you up right after your first meal this day, driving the others and you to the LAN center again.
Feeling that you are on an winning spree you would have entered the arena, knowing that the past matches got nothing in common with the challenges ahead.
Only a few hours later you would have been very disappointed, because the loss versus WolkeR-Gaming was something you forgot about so it didn't affect your game.
Out of the clouds and back on the solid ground of Russia, ripped out of your dreams to win the ASUS event in your first try you wouldn't know who or what to blame - maybe simply because sometimes there is no guilt to dispose. WolkeR-Gaming was a tough opponent, their win was worthy. Maybe with a bit more luck in the moments they needed it, but you knew that this is also your business.
Lacking of motivation now they last game versus Rush3D had become a little pain, but after all you were still happy to finish within the top four teams.
So you would take the experience with you that there is a big difference between online gaming and the pressure of facing your opponent directly, this first time even abroad in a country you had never been before.
Catching up the rest of your mates you would have still been happy, knowing that there will come other days when you would win all games and end your journey with a trophy in your hands.
So as the tournament had finished and you would still be in a good mood like the rest of SK.DotA, you would have sit together and talked a lot.
Sad to say, but Erik 'bogdan' Olsson would suddenly feel a little weak and go to bed early. If you would have stood awake with Jonathan 'Loda' Berg and the others, you would have seen how weak professionals in DotA can be.

Telling you that he will check out what happened to 'bogdan', 'Loda' left without coming back. The sneaky thing was that he just needed a good reason to go to bed, it was not his social half that made him leave the room.
With 'ARS-ART' leaving at five o'clock in the morning you would have been alone again, and if you would have gone with SK.DotA as substitute for 'Akke' you would have had to find a free bed. Finding 'hailo' sleeping in 'Loda's and 'bogdan's room, 'Loda' and 'bogdan' in your room you would have had no other choice than to sleep in 'hailo's room.
The last damn thing before you could have taken your delinquent sleep was the problem that the key to 'hail's room was missing. So you would have gone to the reception, and after a small chat you would have had another key to your room. In there, magic, was the key to 'hailo's room, so at least you would have found a free bed for your own.
The rest of your journey was not worth to mention, so all healthy you got back to your hometown, having won some money and gained a lot of impressions on Russia in general, Moscow and the Russian players in detail.
