A week in review
As part of continued changes being implemented to both how the Call of Duty content is presented, as well as the content itself, we're proud to bring you 'a week in review'. The premise behind this concept is to summarise important issues and events which have happened over the last seven days in the CoD4 scene.

Hopefully this will make it much easier for non native community members to enjoy and follow the CoD content here on SK Gaming, as well as native CoD players who might not follow the website on a daily basis. Any issues highlighted and discussed will have links, demos, videos to the original content so you can read beyond the summary if you so wish.
Weekend – Championship Gaming Series (CGS) host a £10,000 Call of Duty 4 tournament at the European qualifier and draft event at the Omega Sektor LAN centre in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The event was won by fnatic despite losing their first match and having to play the remainder of the tournament from the loser bracket, beating a weakened Dignitas side in the final.
Monday – H2k.Thermaltake secured their position in the winner bracket final after defeating KomaCrew 25 – 22 in the Clanbase EuroCup XVII.
Tuesday – Packed Bell announce details of the iPOWER Games 2008. The event will take place at the same location and time as the Electronic Sports World Cup Masters event in Paris, France. The news highlights that Dignitas should have received the UK qualifier spot instead of Meet Your Makers.
Wednesday – Everyone is unsurprisingly watching the UEFA Champions league football final and there's nothing to report from the CoD scene.
Thursday – Dignitas comfortably relegate eSuba.HAL3000 to the loserbracket over two maps, in the second Clanbase Eurocup XVII upper bracket semi final. They will meet H2k.Thermaltake in the upper bracket final with the winner certain of finishing in the top two. Demos of eSuba|Mazarini are available to download.
Friday – SK Gaming introduces new content schedule, with improved coverage and more bespoke content tailored for the CoD community. Both the Clanbase Eurocup XVII and ESL Major Series Season II are fully up to date. Watch out for new content later on today and every Friday, as Friday will become CoD day on SK Gaming.
What to look forward to...
Over the weekend - Call of Duty 4 ESL Major Series Season II relegation matches on Sunday night. High profile teams like fnatic, TEK-9, SK Gaming and Roskilde Ravens will all be battling it out for a place in the play offs alongside Team SPEED-LINK, dignitas, choZen and LowLandLions.
On another note, all content will be 'tracked' unofficially through a dedicated blog which you can read here. It will be updated whenever new content is added, anyone interested in any CoD content published at any point on the SK Gaming website, this should be your first point of call.

Interesting none-the-less.
Really? Since we've known from the start it would be the team that finished highest with a full UK roster?
