Rapha one game away from ESWC

ImageSK Gaming's Quake 3 player Shane "rapha" Hendrixson is only one victory away from securing himself a ticket to the ESWC finals in San Jose after beating Chance "chance" Lacina today.

The ESWC qualifier upper bracket semi final was played today. In the entire set of two maps, chance was only in the lead once, after he got the first frag on hub3aeroq3.

The remainder of the match was played to a pace dictated by rapha and while chance put up a fight on the first map (17-5), he was really outplayed on his map choice, pro-nodm9. Rapha had more armour and better positioning all the time and did not allow chance to score even once. The match ended with a 7-0 score on the second map.

Tomorrow rapha will meet Brian "destrukt" Flander in the qualifier's upper bracket final. The winner of the match will have a guaranteed trip to San Jose. The loser will still have to win another match to qualify.
