We will not be seeing Johan "Toxjq" Quick playing Quake 3 in 2008, at least not in the ESWC tournaments. We will see a score of old legends back in the game, including Paul "czm" Nelson, John "ZeRo4" Hill and Anton "Cooller" Singov.

We have already reported that the Swedish Quake stalward Toxjq does not like Q3 on CPMA enough to play in 2008. But even without him, the list of players invited makes every Quake 3 fan jump for joy.

We will see a very interesting mix of old schoolers and the new school players. The first group is comprised of players like Cooller, ZeRo4, czm, Magnus "fox" Olsson, Cyrus "proZaC" Malekani and even Meng "RocketBoy" Yang. The new schoolers are SK's Shane "rapha" Hendrixson, Alexei "Cypher" Yanushevsky or Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski.

Below is the full list of players invited. Four of the best French players will join those gamers at the ESWC Masters in Paris on the first weekend of Jule.

* Chance (U.S.A.)
