It has taken so many professional gamers from SC as well as Wc3. Even with the army allowing Boxer to play, he is no where near his top shape. Isn't he out of the army soon? Maybe he can reserect eSports in Korea.
Anyway it's not the point, they talk about decreasing TV ratings, so i don't think it's because of the army.. Maybe people feel pretty bored of watching this game.. I don't know..
I assumed this was because of Boxer.
And why are people thumbing me down, the Korean army takes all citizens for 2 years. I can't say I agree with it, however its not my place to comment either seeing as how I am not Korean and it does not affect me as if I were.
I was merely saying that because of the aforementioned qoute that it seems that was the cause.
so far all they did was criticizing anything they've seen in the Sc2 pre-alpha cause it "will destroy competitive gaming cause it's too easy". They should just wait a little longer.
Starcraft is 10 years old, ofc the market is due to be declining at some point but I think 1 year after SC2 release their ratings will be as high as ever.
