The past few weeks have been full of rumours about the CEG Shanghai tour and whether or not it would go ahead. Today it was announced that the tour has indeed been postponed until further notice.

Originally the Shanghai tour was organized for 16th-18th May, but due to the Olympic torch relay, it was postponed until the end of the month.

At the moment China has increased its security, effects of which were visible at the recent Road of the King tournament where competitors were scanned with airport like devices upon entering the venue. The increased security and the deadly earthquake in China's Sichuan province are reportedly the reason for the delay however nothing has been confirmed yet.
