The game started off on hub3areoq3, a map American players are generally good at. Throughout most of the match, destrukt had the advantage and allowed himself to delay respawns towards the very end while carnage got several consolation frags. Despite the score being 17-13, hub was not close.

It role-reversal on ZTN, where carnage did most of the scoring and the only thing destrukt had to offer was waiting for his opponent to kindly take off his trousers, turn around and let dkt use his LG on him. It worked a few times, but if that is your only recipe to win the match, then you do not deserve to win.

The third map was DM6 and it was the very best of the entire set. Destrukt started off really well and managed to pick up more crucial megahealths. He was in a very comfortable lead half way through the map and impressed with a few nice cutoffs on carnage. Whenever it looked like carnage was picking up speed to get 2-3 frags in succession, destrukt managed to stop him. But then carnage fragged some more.

Towards the very end, carnage came one frag away from equalising the score, but some ballsy play by destrukt and a nice airrocket saved the day. The CGS manager is in the top 3 zone already and is one match away from qualifying for the ESWC Grand Final.

The other semi final match between SK's Shane "rapha" Hendrixson and Chance "chance" Lacina will be played tomorrow at 4am CET.
