Disappointed that you didn't take part of the ASUS Spring 2008 at Moscow? Here comes what could have happened to you if you would have spend more time to DotA and had a bit of luck to get asked to join SK.DotA. - Day 1Getting up at 4 am in the morning hurts, but you would have to do it when you get the chance to fly to a city like Moscow, play with some of the worlds best teams on LAN and meet your virtual opponents and friends in real life.
So, if you had been part of SK.DotA over the last few days, Erik 'bogdan' Olsson would have taken you to the airport of Landvetter. You would have had a short flight without issues to Copenhagen, where you would have spent the time enjoying a breakfast while waiting for the connecting flight to Moscow.
Arriving at Moscow you would have met Sergio 'ARS-ART' Revin, some Russian DotA players and a couple of Sergios friends.

After gathering your first impression of the Russian capital you would have gone directly to the idol of American capitalism, conqueror of communism and symbol of people getting fat and lazy: the golden M.
The way to McDonalds would have been a new kind of experience because you would have not expected to see the whole traffic of a metropolis like Moscow ignoring every single rule you learned in driving school.
There you would have maybe tried to order a quarter-pound cheese-burger with chips and a coke like Mikael 'Hailo' Grinsvall did and you would have been annoyed like he was when he faced a single cheese-burger with no chips, no coke. But you would have shared the drink of Joakim 'Akke' Akterhall ... a 0.2 litre coke.
Familiar with the communication problems now, you would have found out that Russian burgers taste like Swedish burgers in general, and you might take some extra lessons in 'ordering junk food in foreign country' to prepare for the next trip with SK.DotA.
After some hours of relaxing in the hotel you would have gathered again with the rest of SK.DotA for some sightseeing. You would have met some players of Virtus.Pro and a couple of fans who wanted to meet you or just come to look at you.
You would have visited some important places of Moscow, e.g. Red Square and later made a pit stop at a nice pub for a drink or two - knowing that you have to be fit the next morning.
Being happy you did not get lost in the huge city of Moscow you would finally have fallen asleep in the bed of your hotel, preparing for the battles that will come the following days.
Stay tuned, the second day of SK.DotA at Moscow will be released soon!
